i know talking does, i've been through therapy
but complaining doesn't. the line between the two is very fine and tricky but what i'm really getting at is that if you take your problems into your hands and tackle them head on you'll be much happier in life than if you spend time talking or complaining about them to others.
obviously if she was talking about her grief over a lost loved one i wouldn't be saying any of this because there are certain issues that we cannot solve regardless of how hard we try, however, her current issue seems to be one that she could fix therefore i am trying to encourage her to do so because i think if she does she will be happier in the long run.
