If you apply at a chain restaurant for a specific location and they make you go to a different location 30 minutes away is that like common/ would I be an asshole for telling them I don't want to work this far away?

Not sure if this is just where my interview is but with school I'm not driving an hour every time I work. Feck

nah tell them. maybe drop it in towards the end of the interview, so that the interview won't start off on a possible negative + by the end you'll have proven you're a worthy candidate and so they'll want to put you somewhere that suits you if that makes sense?

When we got a wood burning stove I was constantly roasting dogs and mallows.

My mom thought it was cute at first but got pissed after a week haha.

Really? what class is it? Last year for the english and teachers ed class I took I had to write outlines multiple times. I bullshitted them though because fuck writing outlines.

Were those just classes with large number? I can't see world mineral economics being a class with very high numbers so thats probably why. They definitely help but only in a small class situation where you can peer edit and even have a prof take a look over it.

true. I brought it up and he said there aren't many hours available at the other location so he asked me to go to that one. Which is pretty understandable I think. Hopefully that means I'll get longer days to make up for the long drive.

I think we only had to do it to mainly show the professor that we were on track with the papers. We got points for it so I didn't really mind much and it kept me from writing the entire paper the day it's due just like I'm doing right now actually.

Just wrote a thousand words on the medical advancements of the Greeks and Romans....only to realize that the paper has to be about a single civilization...not 2...FUCK. At least I caught it at 1000 words and not 4500.

Yeah i just emailed my TA and she said it would be okay as long as I focus on the melting of greek medical philosophy and technology into the Roman world as a perpetuatiion of the Greek ideas.

Basically i have to focus on the greek effects on the roman empire, and i cant go into any detail about the roman advancements if they dont have any correllation with Greece....Oh well....i only had to delete about 300 words....the real shitty part is that i now have to find new main ideas and sources hahhaaha

Just spent 2 hours driving all over to register for one class, thank fuck it turns out to be at my comm college and not an extra 15-20 minutes away in an even more traffic heavy area. I also dont even need to take the class since my credits are already full
