our work truck this summer is a super janky gmc 3500 with a heinously sticky gas pedal, no muffler so it sounds like a monster truck, a single cab and an obscenely huge bed. we've taken to calling it "long dick" and take any and every opportunity to scream at people when we drive by "WHATCHU KNOW BOUT LONG DICK, YOU GON' LEARN TODAY" and rev the engine super loud. It brings joy to my work week.

agreed. Dogs are cute, they play with you, jump on you, get excited to see you, and they don't cause me to go into respiratory distress so it really is a win win .Plus their shit decomposes into the earth and makes your grass greener so who's the real winner?

Cats are just as chyll as doggos if not chyller. Always got more love for dogs tho but still got respect for my cats. They're all chillers so nothin to stress about

The program that I was in was a little different being mechanical eng tool and die and college instead of university. I ended up on the hands on side for starting out. Was a machinist and CNC setup machinist and then I ended up in the office in plant engineering where I still have a little time on the floor. Doing plant layouts 2D autocad, helping plan a new press line, renovations and design some parts and fixtures around the plant in 3D solidworks also a bit of R&D. Not a terrible experience and got to travel a little but I'm just getting bored and tired of being indoors at a desk. It just doesn't suit me to be around suits. I don't regret the experience though, especially machining and designing, I just need to be more freelance/artistic and have more time outdoors so going to find a way to combine the two.

I was going to take the ODA (outdoor adventure) program which is whitewater kayaking, skiing, climbing, guiding etc. but my dad talked me out of it saying I wouldn't make enough which I wish I didn't listen because I would have been happier doing that and should have just followed my heart!

And then it's 50 or 60 lb cousin decided to commit suicide by throwing itself through my old cars rad at 100 km and blew my head gasket!! I was so mad I went back to make sure it was dead but couldn't find it..
