From both of the trailers they look to be like two real good movies. What was wrong with the music in Certifiable? it was just punk or is punk gay music. Any way i really liked that song for prototype it was pretty cool but that Steve Paul or whatever his name is needs to learn how to ski powder, he looked almost as bad as moseley in Ski Movie.

I dont thin kyou understand why he may not look all that comfotable in powder.
You see, back here in the East, the mountains are not WAYYYYYYY up, the snow we get isnt always 'light and dry.' And its not always snow...
But for some reason a big troph in the jet stream hung over us for almost the whole winter, providing us with an ample amount of snow. THat was something we havent seen for a long time. So one day steve paul went and tried skiing deep powder for the first time, and unless your special, your not normally good at things on the first time.
I hope you understand better about our powder disability.

Yea i know about powder disabiltys i ski in indian which has a natural snowfall of 25 inches a year. I thought where steve paul was skiing was jay peak or at least it looked like it anyway i was just saying that i wondered why they kept putting him in there trailers because he wasnt skiing to good there. Im sure there are good powder skiers from vermont i live in Ohio and still can ski powder pretty good.

I can assure you that Steve Paul is a very good powder skier. What you cannot tell from the shot is that the pitch he is skiing is at least 45 degrees, and if you'll notice the speed at which he's skiing, I'd be damned if anyone other than McConkey or Morrison can make it look much better.

And another thing.
I appreciated seeing powder shots filmed in the east. DEEP powder shots, mind you.

I think i've posted this before, but i'll post it again anyway.
Prototype is a tight film. I got it like three weeks ago and i am very impressed with it. The back country stuff is pretty good, with some nice angles and shots.
The Rex Thomas stuff is money all the way through too.
Now, i am sure a certain DSpin7x will once again yell and scream like a little baby, but i am not a big fan of the mogul stuff. I mean, it's not horrible, but it sort of ruins the flow of the movie. That's my only problem with it. Got that dspin? Good. Now stop fucking messaging me!
Anyways, pick this movie up, it's totally worth the money!

Does anyone know if Prototype has a lot of back country? I'm in the midwest so I like to watch a movie about stuff I can actually dream about doing here.

Prototype has some back country. Not a lot, but it strikes a good balance.
As for dspin, you have got to be the most immature arguer(?) in the world. The bulk of your rebuttal's consisted of 'Your gay'. Oh, and nice job trying to insult me because i use 'big words'. Well you see, when you aren't a total retard, you tend to be able to speak somewhat intelligently.

Hey- Just my first little post here to let you know that Prototype is a sweet little movie. I've watched it like 6 times at least, and there is something new and exciting each and every time. AND, the music is KEY. AND, Steven Paul is an excellent powder skier. I'm from the east and I've never even skied in powder! That's like my dream!!! I'm sure it was Steve's too-- So stop complaining, and enjoy the sweet snow, and the sweet vid.
Can't wait till winter!!

The Certifiable site is www.engsoc.org/~bigmike/skiing/videos -- trailer is in Real Media and Windows Media formats.
In response to the music post in the other thread, my music is entirely punk (except for one Method Man song). Bands like Pennywise, Strung Out, Satanic Surfers, Rise Against, Home Grown, Slick Shoes, etc. (full list on my Web site) are on the soundtrack.
Hope y'all enjoy!

Prototype is a kick-ass movie, and a mad steal for $8. I'll be putting up a movie review section very shortly so you can find out more details then about all the upcoming movies.
