US Slopestyle Team Predictions

Does anybody know when the US ski team for slopestyle is going to be announced?  Also, who do you think will be on the inaugural team?

I'm guessing Bobby Brown, Gus Kenworthy, Alex Schlopy, and Tom Wallisch.

i don't think you can predict considering it won't be announced until 2014. think about the possibilities. there is a new big name every year. injuries come into play. just seems unrealistic to make the right choices this early.

Well think about it, how many countries have mountains. Then how many of them are ski-able. Then how many of them have ski resorts, as well as a park? Not that many.

Countries that will definately have teams:

U.S.A,  Canada, Sweden, Norway, New Zeland, Australia, Italy, Swizterland, England, Germany, France.

Im sure there will be more as well...

I wonder if Spain will have a team, I know there's some talent there. Finland and Austria for sure. Denmark? Poland? Russia? Slovenia? (Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there's skiing in Slovenia?) Is there any potential from Chile or Argentina?

I think you may be surprised with how many countries actually do. And, the truth of the Olympics is that it is totally dominated by only a few countries so it doesn't really matter.

Small list of possibilities; Spain, Italy, USA, Canada, Chile, United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Japan, China, Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, France, Austria, Norway, Australia and New Zealand.

if you knew shit about the olympics you would know that that being named to the recently developed national team does not mean that you have a spot in the olympics. those 4 spots will be determined in a few pipe comps early in the same season as the olympics.
