Yeahh.... No.
I'm actually fine with paying taxes. I actually don't think classic libertarianism will ever happen again in this country and my views are entirely idealistic. Most Libertarians believe in taxes for what they believe to be civic necessities. Many don't think health care is, I happen to think it is. My view is, if you are working full time, you deserve health care. I don't think there is a reason why a man who works really really hard doing labor deserves poorer quality than a man who only thinks hard. In the case of families, as long as the "breadwinner" is working, family gets health care. I hate welfare, I believe that if you want free money you should be doing the shit that doesn't get done... like cleaning up trash in downtown areas, pulling weeds, pulling recyclables out of trash and so forth. If you honestly can't find a job, you do that and your family still gets health care. Welfare no longer a strain on society. Military becomes only defensive. Save a shit ton there. Privatize education and do a voucher system in which you pick what school your child goes to. Better school systems get more money and expand operations but don't charge the students, money comes from government. Government no longer spends on things like standardized testing and boards and blah blah blah. Decisions become based on the quality of the teachers. Everyone still gets an education that essentially polices its self. Let people do all the drugs they please. They do drugs and fuck their life... well if they aren't working, they can go to one of those awesome charities for what needs to happen and get their care that way. No more money spent on drugs. So many places to save money. But, it will never happen. Therefore I vote democratic party because I care too much about the social issues like gay rights and pro choice and separation of church and state. At least if we are going to live in an economic shit hole, we can live in one that treats people with respect (for the most part).
