my uncle has 2, they're a lot more ghetto than that one. He ordered parts for the first one and put it together, then using that one he made parts for another one that prints bigger things
i no a girl who uses them to create bespoke designs like lamp shades and jewellery, she was telling me youl be able to print in gold and platinum in a matter of years. i cant find the video but theres a video of designers drawing on a graphics tablet on a 3d program pictures of chairs and they get made as they draw.
BUT WERE YOU ABLE TO SCAN REALY OBJECTS AND CREATE A REPLICA WITH MOVING PARTS. THE SCANNING PART IS THE AMAZING PART OF THE VIDEO, CAUSE, YES, 3D PRINTERS HAVE BEEN OUT FOR A WHILE
YES, I"VE DONE THAT TOO, BUT IN DESIGN, THERE'S NO REASON TO COPY SOMETHING THAT IS ALREADY MADE. YOU DESIGN SOMETHING NEW THAT'S BETTER THAN EVERYTHING ELSE, PRINT IT TO TEST IF IT'S A PROFITABLE AND MARKETABLE ITEM. BEING ABLE TO COPY IS "COOL," BUT NOT FUNCTIONAL.
