i switched from boarding to skiing this past season. i dunno if it was just natural, or the years of experience with skating and skiing lessons early on in my life... or whatever, but i found i progressed ten folds this season alone in skiing, compared to my entire time snowboarding. could've just been gear, could be comfort. i'm definitely more outgoing as a skier, and i think i'll stay this way.

I never snowboarded but started skiing at the end of last year so have been skiing for a year and a bit i guess. I can 9, cork 7, rodeo, misty etc. I started off just learning how to actually ski and didnt even really go into the big parks until half way through this season and mainly focused on glades and stuff which really helps and the tricks will just keep coming. If you play hockey then the feeling is kinda similar for carving. I picked it up really easily, and its just soooo much fun. Jumps are definitley easier to progress and learn on, for me anyways.
