it will take time for the numbers to build and popularity to grow. users are supposed to give them feedback so they can make it better than fb. i think the format is great. they still have features yet to be released. the use of the circles makes a lot of sense to me. you can share different things with different groups of your friends. i think it will eventually become better than fb; but maybe not more popular
I always thought Google owned Facebook...maybe I'm getting it mixed up with YouTube. Is Google+ only available to Gmail accounts or is it universal? Either way, I think Facebook will remain the dominant social media site for distant future. That being said, look at what happened to Myspace. Time will tell.
They are causing up a stir ( if thats how you say it) by going the private and exclusive invite route, they are getting a lot of people excited and craving it. its smart. I think they will have a much better website, its just a matter of knowing if people will go through the effort of opening this and dropping facebook or having both.
You might be right... But just look at myspace. TOM had a zillion friends and now i might be his only one... just because i forgot my password so i cant delete it :)
My thoughts exactly. Maybe not a quick change, but in my opinion facebook will not last forever..probably not more than 4 more years. At least not as prominently as it is now.
