So me and my brother got in this debated argument yesterday pretty much just about life. I believe that while we are young is the time to get out there and experience everything you can/want to. For example; traveling, living somewhere abroad for a year or two. My brother on the other hand thinks I am a complete and utter idiot for "wasting" my money on things that won't help advance myself financially. Where as him, 20 years old, has never traveled (nor plans on doing so) lives at home and just saves money. Don't get me wrong, he is happy and i can see his point of view, but I could never do that, I feel like there is just so much to get out and see in this world. I have a couple friends who are like that as well, who have no interest in traveling until they are well established, older and have a family. I am not judging anyone on their opinion or lifestyle choices, I just find it facinating how me and my brother just could not even fathom living the way eachother does. Now, obviously education is very important...I am talking about after you are done school and still have that freedom while you are young.
So NS, I am just curious how you look at it. Are you the type of person who values the experience or the materials things more? ie: spend money on traveling and living experiences or put all your money away to save up for that house and car you dream of to start your family. No hate, no judgement, just purely curious.
