just saw that headline on facebook. anyone have any other information/footy of this? it'll be pretty sick if there are a few more chicas able to throw doubles at comps in the next few years before 2014 olympics!
*** sorry, forgot to put that it was on Spyder's facebook page status, so reasonably reputable source. even if it's just a double spread eagle i'm stoked
well there was that girl at whistler last year, think she landed a double flat 7 or something... it looked pretty sick, but unfortunately i'm not incredibly good with remembering names... there's a front page article with it in video floating about somewhere. a few girls have landed double backs, i'm pretty sure the logan sister has...
i personally don't think dub backs or dub fronts should be included in the 'dub club.' while they are a double flip, that's not really what people mean when they said 'dub.' plus people have been doing double backs/fronts for a long time
anyways.... anyone have any more infor on this happening? Roz G's stuff is usually pretty sick. it'd just be cool to see where/what/how/when/howmany she tried... and if she was wearing a tall enough T of course... got to remember the site we're on!
It's funny how everyone is pressing girls to dub when they're complaining that there are too many in the guys' side of the sport... i think girls are just trying to protect the steeze!
I wouldn't exactly say we're pressing girls to throw ze dubs, but if one just got thrown, it is kinda a big deal for ladies park skiing (anyone remember when jon was the only guy throwing doubles, then a month or two past and everyone was?) i just want to see it if it happened!
i wanna know why she wasnt invited to nine queens or why the sight of a fellow female skier doing a dub flat didn't push at least one more to start making an attempt.
