iPod or iPod mini?

i cant pick wich one to get. Mini's are alot smaller but can only hold 1000 songs, so everyon is tellin me to get the normal one but i doubt i will listen to over 1000 songs. what do ya think?

get the normal because you can back your files up on it too, and it's a newer model.

I don't really understand the gimmick for the ipod mini. Maybe I'm missing something? But why pay the same ammount of money or even more in some cases for two devices.. Where one device holds alot more than the other.. and the other holds less, costs more for the money, and is only a tad bit smaller?

I have a normal iPod and my friend has a blue iPod mini. the mini isnt bad if you dont listen to alot of music. You CAN fit more than 1,000 songs on it too. The numbers that Apple goes by is their standard AIFF file which is larger than an mp3.

i think BamBam said this but dont underestimate how much you will put on it. think a little more long term (if u are good to it). i agree with cruz though, spend the extra 50 and get 16gb more...u will eventually use it and if you dont the 20GB ipods are easy as hell to sell over ebay (i suggest you buy on off there becasue u can get em wicked cheap)
