he didn't i'm pretty sure he died. i've heard the videos are from different occasions though. like the first one is an actual jump but the split open face is from something else completely unrelated and the two were just spliced together

yep, there's no way his face would have split open that cleanly in one line from top to bottom like that from bashing it on concrete. the face split open part looks more like he got a machete to the skull.

on a sort of related incident, I was hearing about a guy doing cliff jumping somewhere in south-east Asia (Thailand or something), and he hit his head on a rock and fractured his skull. But that wasn't the problem, he healed fine from that but he got some parasite from the water that had got through the skull fracture that was causing some damage to his brain, so back in US (where he's from) they had to operate and scrape the parasites off his brain. he's a complete vegetable now though and essentially brain dead from it.

I've posted the video because off the jump not because off the second part.
I doubt that they belong together, but it can be possible since he hit his head sideways on that edge, and you can see that the edge of the harbor had an exposed probably metal edge, so it could be related to each other.

And about the guy whose face is split open and say he died: you can see the docs performed a tracheotomy which means he is breathing on his own...so there is a rather big chance he survived, maybe as a vegetable but who knows?

He dies though. Apparently if there were better doctors in the area they could have fixed him up nicely, but I think about 4 hours after the video in the operating room he passed away

yeah it was some shitty medical clinic somewhere in the UAE i think. the guy from the 2nd video doesn't survive eventhough the doctors were able to sort of put his face back together. nobody knows if the guys from the videos are the same or if it's 2 completely different things

1. dude tries to dive over a concrete pier thing, about a 15 foot drop. trips on takeoff and goes face first into the edge of pier, and then into water. knocks himself out and blood's pouring from his head.

2. Video of surgery on a dude who tried to commit suicide with a shotgun to the mouth. Dudes head is literally open like a clam, and you can hear and see whats left of his face trieng to breathe.


the two videos are edited to make it seem as though the second video is the aftermath of the first.
