We were lucky enough to hear a really cool story today about a fun loving ski crew in Washington and thought we'd share it with you. It really encompasses what skiing is all about, having a great time with friends and family.
So, there is an unofficial crew of roughly 10 die-hard skiers called the "White Pass Ski Club" based in Yakima, WA. Ages range from 14 to 55, and consists of various friends, family, and fellow local skiers. The resort they ski at is called White Pass is quite small, and has a park with around 15 features.
The older generations literally raise the new generations on the hill at every possible chance, and they continue to build amazing lifelong memories together as they push each other skiing, traveling, etc. Regardless of vast age difference, skiing level, background, they treat each other as equals. Most of the crew continues to ski all summer at Hood.
A few years ago, one of the youngest girls went to Windells and scored herself a huge, steezy FD tee from a coaches sale. Well, apparently the crew loved the look and pretty soon everyone was decked out head to toe in FD. They feel it helps give their crew a distinct look and brings everyone together.
Recently, a few members have taken their love for FD and their crew to the next level. So after much thought, Lance Tormey and Josh Miller decided to get FD tattoos. Thanks guys, we couldn't be more proud to be part of the White Pass Ski Club, for life ;)
PS Josh and Lance- We need to keep you looking crisp for your crew so we'll be hooking you guys up with free Vertika suits this winter, enjoy!
