2012 ON3P Jeffrey or 2012 Line SFB

I hate to be the guy doing this but I need to but some new skis.

I'm interested in the 2012 ON3P Jeffrey and 2012 Line SFB. I'm 5'10 150 lbs and mostly ski Snowbird and Alta. They will be my everyday ski.

So NS, what do you recommend?

I was choosing between these 2 skis and i chose the jeffrey because it is stiffer, and has more rocker. I know this doesn't really help you but just thought i'd say it

if you want to do more playful stuff, get teh SFB
the jeffrey will be able to chrge a bit better though.

and i think the amount of rocker on these is really close, no huge difference, and they both have elliptical rocker.

For Snowbird and Alta, as an everyday ski I would rather be on the Jeffrey. I had a pair of prototypes that I skied at alta all day everyday there wasn't fresh, they were a little softer and fatter than the jefferey is now - it was a perfect everday alta ski.

I haven't skied the new SFB, but that's more something that I would want specifically for softer days rather than every day.

Honestly I'd consider the opus instead of next yrs bacons...especially if I was doin Alta everyday.

When we set out to build the Caylor, it was envisioned and produced as a pow ski that you can shred comfortably all day in bounds. For the first few runs, the flex is more supple than necessary, but after things start to get tracked out, cut up, and generally trashed, floppy pow skis aren't useful anymore. They don't plow through crud, and they don't support you when you land backseat off a cliff.

The Jeffery follows the same idea of supple flex. Based on skiing past models, the SFB is great in fresh pow, but it didn't hold up when things got chunky or at speed. In the Jeffery you'll find a ski that isn't as buttery, but can hold its own in more conditions.

id go for bacons, theyre rad skis, but i do prefer somethin softer myself. bummer line slimmed them down this year but still gonna be a sick ski

Dude that's straight horse poop about last years bacons....they destroyed everything...seriously I ripped em down a long steep bump run with zero problem....but I'm not sure about next years bacons....again....get the opus period...I've ridden it in crap spring conditions and it ripped...it will be my everyday ski from now on.

Don't take that as knockin on3p though cause honestly I've never skied them...I've heard good things but I can only give ya my impressions of what I've ridden.

Bacons might be my favorite ski ever (haven't ridden ON3P's yet), but I can say that the build quality on the ON3P's is better than Lines.

If I skied snowbird and alta only, I would be on the most badass pow ski I could find. Not a wide all-mountain ski. But I love my bacons and I know on3p makes a legit ski.

I'd say consider something beefier like the caylor or even better.... pillowfights!

Yeah dude I used to say the 10/11 bacons were the best ski I'd ever ridden....till I got on the opus. If you haven't had a chance yet definitely try to demo those this winter and prepare to be blown away. Somethin this wide shouldn't ski this good all mountain but it does. I never woulda considered one of eps pro models being an ice coaster but damn....just damn.

The Jeffrey is my new favorite ski hands down. Any day thats not boot deep+ the Jeffrey would be the go to ski. It'll rip anything anywhere, granted not a bump ski at 108, but with the rocker it kills variable conditions. I also enjoyed it in the park and although im no park guy by any means it felt more stable than any skinnier ski ive ridden in a while.
