Painting a helmet

hey guys, i searchbarred and couldnt find anything about painting a helmet. so fuck me if this is a repost


I have an old helmet i dont wear very often and was thinking about spray painting it a different color, but leaving some stickers on there so that when i take them off the design will still be ther ex. an oakley sticker, and a monster sticker.

anyone ever paint their helmet? or any ideas on how it would come out?

Will it damage the integrity of the helmet? I'm sure I've heard stuff about painting helmets that can make them less productive.
This might be absolute shit though, just sure I heard it somewhere

,yeah, i also heard that spraying a helmet or even putting stickers on it can damage it (the glue does some shit to it or smth)

Just like spray painting anything else, make it even and it will be fine. It will chip pretty quick though

yes i was worried about chipping, i think i might just try it one day and upload some pics, ill have to find teh paint in my garage. maybe tommorrow.
