Strong post by someone who has obviously played the game. Quietly kickin ass while blending in is the way to go through basic. I showed up in good shape and maxed all my pt tests. I remeber the drill saergents takin the EHeath fat kids desserts and giving them to me.
Other than that if I had to do it again I'd skip the 11 mos and pick up a better more marketable skill. Not that knowing many different ways to kill people and janitorial skills aren't important.and Cruisin around Germany in a Bradley had it's moments Benning and the whole state of Georgia sucks.
Other than that the only other advice i can give ya to prep is get a big dildo paint it od green and shove it up your ass repeatly so when the jam the big green weenie up your ass you'll be ready.
the cool thing about going through the mind fuck and intense training is once you get out and face adversery you look back on it and realize what I'm dealing w/ now aint shit.
