Orrr if there went men overseas (based in Saudia Arabia and training Pakistani's who then trained Afghan terrorists) there wouldn't have been a 9/11.

But I wouldn't expect you to know that since you are an incredibly accomplished political science major who can't tell the difference between since/sense their/there feat/feet and numerous other grammatical, logical, neurological disorders that your posts contain.

Good luck man. My cousin is Tier 2 Force Recon for the Marines and the stories that he is allowed to tell me are pretty damn crazy. Some schools he talked about were pretty insane as well.

He has the utmost respect too for the Rangers, they are pretty damn bad ass.

I'm sorry but that is one of the biggest misconceptions soldiers are taught.  In what ways, directly, are you still giving us our freedoms?  Politicians are the ones that either keep our freedoms or threaten them.  Fighting the wars we have going on right now have nothing to do with keeping liberty in the United States of America.  Again, politicians are the ones that "fight" for our freedoms even though some do a shitty job.

11chuck really depends on when you go to sand hill, my asvab score was a 94 and I'm 11b. I know they fill teh 11c slots earlier in the year which is when you said you should be going so it could happen. Also if you make it though RASP have fun getting treated like complete shit until you get your tab. It's definitely an awesome thing to be in Ranger bat but they treat you like garbage. Otherwise definitely made the right choice going 11x, who would actually want to be a pog anyway. Good luck brah

ps sign the shortest contract possible, the Infantry is cool and all but we rarely do our jobs. Get ready for a lot of police calling trash, sweeping and mopping.

Do they offer option 40 in a 3 year? when I went through it was only a 4 year option.

And I think you meant to say our job is to do everyone else's job for them.

I respect your choice and i think it is very noble of you but i strongly disagree with your earlier statement that all men should serve in the military. What the fuck has the US given me that is even two shits near the value of my life? A deteriorating road system. A rep as an ignorant American fuck. A 14.3 trillion dollar debt that our generation is going to have to pay off? A shitty welfare system? yea pass on that shit. Do you realize that if we withdrew all military operation from Iraq and Afghanistan we would very quickly pull out the debt nose dive we are currently in. Greece has a low debt per capita than us and they give their citizens retriment at like 53 and free healthcare and all this great shit. Yea fuck America I am moving to Canada where the political bullshit levels are below 750,000 Parts per million. The only war i would fight in is a war that is not based of political games and Bullshit. WW2 i would enlist instantly for that shit. getting into the Reserves next September, and I'm reapplying for Pilot in 2 years, hopefully I'll make it in next time! (wasn't accepted because i scored a 58 out of a minimum 60 in the interview to get into the ROTC Pilot program but everything else was good to go, fu)

Definitely reapply for pilot in 2 years. The government is cutting the reserve program in nearly half in hopes it will get more people to join the regs. Plus you will get to try out those cool new F-35's.
