Dull edges FTW (warning, bloody photos)

So, I was skiing yesterday on some GS skis, they were lethally sharp, I prereleased and one ski came underneath me, sliced through my pants, thermals, and most of the way through my hip. So yeah, don't fuck about with race skis! Click for larger image

Haha, I know man, I get problems at every turn! At least it's not boring.

Back on the skis today, taught my first lesson in Spanish too! Well, I had a kid who helped translate, so it was kind of half and half. One kid only spoke Portugese though, he was kind of screwed.

I'm back! Been teaching all this week, but taking it pretty easy, it snowed a bunch here, then got sunny, so it was time to ski again, so happy to be back! Wound still bleeding a bit though, so going to be a little while till I am 100%.

Cuts that actually get deep into your skin hurt less than you would expect.

It kinda feels like a painful deep scratch, and then stops. It's surprising.

A ski patrol at a resort close to me sliced his crazy leg vein and died because of that.

Wow. I never realized how dull my edges must be. My ski's din was way to low for my weight (start of the winter) and I went for a 2sev disaster, ended up double ejecting and landing on my stomach on both of my skis. only ended up with some pretty bad bruises.
