Pistols on the groomers..

Hey, I need some info from someone who owns and rides Seth Pistols. Honestly, how do they perform skiing very aggresivly on groomers and hardpack. Is weight a issue in the park?

i got a pair gratis (never woulda bought them for east coast stuff) and on groomers they were actually REALLY nice skis...held a great edge on every type of run except ice, PISTOLS HATE ICE (and for good reason, haha its a powder ski)

but unless its an icy day, i have nothing really bad to say about these skis

on groomers, the pistols are fine. but like ^ said, they don't like ice (so like softened up groomers, but not super-icy hardpack groomers)

not the best ski obviously but they hold up, it's not death like trying to ride spatulas on groomers, haha that was scary, anyway they aren't to bad as long as that's not all you're using htem for

As long as its ice pistols own on the groomers! When there is nice snow they carce sooooo nice, like many fat skis tehy dont like ice to much but seriously if the snow is nice these things rip redciculously on the crud,.

Yeah theya re fine in park but if you realyl have to ask if they are bad on ice that probably means you ski ice and shouldnt be buying a pow ski..

A man can dream can't he? Yah I know, I was thinking of getting them because I ski east coast now but next year I'll be living in Utah, and I won't have enough to get skis both years.

never really had problems with mine ... ive skied em in everything from fresh snow to hardpack ice... there okay if you know how to ski thats all.. and im sure west knows how....mine are still for sale 2... lemme know

i tryed the pistols last year, they were really chittery, i didnt find them a very 'solid' ski.
