im taking an online writing class and dont have my textbook yet, but anyway i need to edit these ten sentences based on these writing terms:
Conciseness, Expletives, Voice (active and passive), Affectation,Intensifiers, Nominalizations, Style, Subordination, Emphasis, Parallel structure, Sentence variety, Common errors, Commas,Comma splice, Subject/verb and pronoun/antecedent agreement, Dangling modifier, Faulty Parallelism, Compound words, Hyphens used with modifiers.
To be honest I dont have time to look this shit up and we were never given a headsup on the text book and i now live 2000 miles away from the school library, but here are the sentences.
1. The blizzard hit at 7:30 a.m. It had rained for two hours before. Many commuters slid on black ice. Hospital emergency rooms were overcrowded. Businesses opened late.
