Apple Mail Help

Hey guys and girls I need some help setting up an apple mail account.

I have a college email that goes through google apps, so although it is a gmail account I believe my address is example@cortland.edu. I have no idea the POP settings and all that jazz and I've been on support websites for the past hour or so trying to figure it out.

It seems like I could figure it out if I had a normal gmail account it would work, but the fact that my email address is different it doesn't like it.

I really have no idea what to look for and if anybody could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need any other info!
