if there dulled down more, they will be extra surfy and buttery in the pow, better for like pow jibbing. however, i like to keep mine sharper because i ski more big mountain and i like to slash spines and hold an edge in the pow. so it really depends on what you want to be skiing, if your just playin down in the trees it would be more fun (imo) to have duller, more rounded edges to smear on etc, if ur gonna be killin' lines up in the alpine, i would keep em pretty sharp.
well yeah, if we're talking about conditions such steep and hard alpine then yeah, you want to have always sharp edges, but if you're just talking about deep pow then i don't think that edges matter, thats what i've heard...
Tune underfoot, always keep the rocker section detuned. Where you detune the rocker section to does make a difference, at least on the skis I've been on. Some you want to actually have a bit of an edge in the first little bit of rocker, some you want detuned to the contact point, but most I detune into the running length a bit. I like to schmear.
i agree with this. i pretty much round the rockered part, slightly detune the contact points and then keep underfoot relatively sharp. for the most part though i dont like sharp edges
