Picture Format?

ive got some pics i want to post....but they are in the wrong format (bitmap)......i want to change the format so i can post them.....how do i do it? is it possible or not?

wow you suck at computers. uh just use like any picture editing app. you 'save as' the type of file you want

lol i know im not that bad with other stuff its jsut that i JUST got into picture editing and stuff

it's probably also worth telling you that pix are commonly put in jpeg of gif files

yeah but like pictures that ive put together in paint are bitmap images and i cant post them

You can download programs for free that can covert the files. Go to google and put in a search for 'bitmap to jpeg', or something like that.

when you're saving it just click on the save as thing and make it a jpeg or gif.

like they said up there^...when u save save as then look under the title of the save and it will mostly say bitmap...should be a down arrow
click and it will come up with a list find jpeg or gif and click it then click save...and ur set
