As for the problem about knowing who's a NS'er or not, hopefully they have a skiing related pic, but I'd have to say just message them, or don't add them to a circle or a ambiguous circle. That's kinda the beauty of this thing, you don't have to label anyone, just toss them in a random's circle and that's enough for the most part.

Google+ is only in an experimental stage. it will take time for the numbers to build and popularity to grow. users are supposed to give them feedback so they can make it better than fb. i think the format is great. i think it will eventually become better than fb

I just end up using facebook.com on my phone most of the time. The Google+ app is miles better. Have you tried huddle yet? It's essentially having BBM, but usable across multiple OS's.

I can see Google+ going far if they keep moving forward with it. It has the power to trump Facebook, from at least a networking standpoint.

I can understand people thinking its boring with only a few people on there so far but the idea of taking what we love from the sites we already use and combining it is great, plus everyone can get something different out of it. It's FB, Twitter, Stumbleupon, gmail, skype/tinychat all rolled into one.

The biggest issue people are having right now is privacy (no surprises there) but unlike FB where they kinda shepherd you into privacy whether you like it or not, Google says its up to you to determine how private you want to be. They can treat it as a blog or if they're a celeb they can have one account and post stuff publicly (like a tweet or FB fan page) or keep it private with their actual friends.

The only downside I can forsee is dumbasses and younger kids using it irresponsibly. By not using the tools given and just posting shit wildly they could force Google to take away some of the freedom that this is supposed to give us.

Hell even friend hoarding is gone, they add you, you don't follow back or add them to a circle for random ass people and never share anything to that group or just block it completely...everyone wins.

I think the best part is that no one knows what circle they're actually in.
