I've never owned an iphone or ipod.
Ipods have always been stupid expensive, for like 10 bucks more my last 3 mp3 players have been sonys with noise cancelling headphones. They've all lasted quite a long time being treated like shit (10 foot drop to concrete just left a scratch on the corner on the one). I have a psp that kicks the shit out of ipods for gaming and a $40 prepaid nokia slide as my phone.
