I've searched around, on this forum and others, and I'e narrowed it down to these two boards. This will be my first "real" longboard purchase. I've ridden a few of my friends' boards so I'm not a complete n00b and I have a general idea of what I like.
To start, I'm 6' and about 165 lbs or so.. I'm going to use this board mainly for cruising around town, carving in, out and around obstacles and what not and commuting. The terrain around here is mostly flat and not always the smoothest and I won't be dealing with any serious inclines. I like carving/pumping and that sort of stuff and maybe some sliding, but sliding isn't my main priority.
As for the rest of the set up, I was thinking either orange 4prez' on the hustler or orange in heat's for the dervish, paris 180s, maybe a 85a supercarve and probably some bones reds.
Price isn't really an issue, so don't let that be a deciding factor between boards.
Any other suggestions are appreciated, thank you!
