There wasn't really much going on international front? Kosovo, Bosnia, Somalia, Sudan, Rwanda. For how much you toot your own horn you really don't know what you are talking about. Also you mention all of those and fail to mention his lack of involvement in Rwanda? That is perhaps one of the biggest geo-political errors the world has ever seen. The US, UN, etc sat by and twiddled their thumbs while 800,000+ people died in a matter of months. Oh and it's SOMALIA. You know, the country where John McCain and George Bush were severely outspoken against action in Africa. Then conveniently were for promoting "democracy" when it was freeing people in Iraq? Have you ever seen the speech of John McCain denouncing Clinton for intervening in Somalia? Then he uses the almost identical opposite opinion when it was 8 years later for Iraq?
You say he ignored the USS Cole and first world trade center? If you read the book Against All Enemies by Richard Clarke there will be points in which he covers in detail about what Clinton's efforts were against Ramsi Yousef and Yemen/Bin Laden for the Cole. He actually had Bin Laden surrounded at Tanarack Farm but because he was met with such severe opposition (people didn't know who Bin Laden was yet)
Who did Clinton pardon that was a "crony" buddy? Seems to me like you are using an emotional disliking for Clinton to spout out random facts.
Yes Clinton was fortunate for a good economy. However you are saying he should be ridiculed for not advising policy? Isn't that a bit hypocritical? The only policies I can see being effective in the 90's were the welfare reform ones that decreased the amount of welfare slugs and policies that slowed down the tech/housing bubble so we wouldn't have had such a harsh disengagement when they decided to pop.
