Reminds me of why I love skiing so much. It's not just the snow or the adventure, it's all about who you're with. Some of my best memories EVER are just hanging out with buds in my backyard and messing around on skis.
I live in bozeamn and trust me, it's not that great. Very limited park scene, moonlight has the only really decent park. Big sky is full of asshole tourists and the park is overhyped. Plus the tram allows for two hour wait times for a run with even a little snow. Bridger is full of crazed hippies. If you want powder there you better ski for that first two hours open, because after that it's gone. Really not great here, go to Utah. Oh and plus, the boy to girl ratio is ridiculously high.
looooooool. So move somewhere else? I LOVE it here. You just need to know when to hit the tram. I've never waited more than 45 minutes on a good day. And the locals here are fantastic. You have to deal with tourists anywhere.... Utah is better? No. I can't stand Utah for more than a couple days. Hit up Moonlight on a deep day, it will change your mind.
Lived here my whole life not some college kid. Moonlight is sick but lacks sick, easily accessible terrain. I don't know about you but 3 three forks hikes are about enough for me. You don't notice that a quarter of the people that ski at big sky are from Texas? Bridger has far and away the best cliffs if you want to work for them. Nothing that I wouldn't pick snowbird or alta over anyway.
Why you gotta be so negative man? Boze is the best you just gotta take it for what it is. The park isn't that great because they don't have the money/crowds to make sick parks like what bigger resorts have. And also those asshole tourists and half of them texans or whatever are only there for two weeks out of the year and they make it possible for us to shred with basically no lines for the other five months of the year
