Some K2 domain questions...

1. what's the difference between the 2010-2011 and the 2011-2012 domains?

2. how do they perform in the park? (light/heavy, buttery/stiff, etc.)

3. i'm gonna be like ?5"5? and ?120? pounds next season. high 150's for size right?

4. i like to ski groomers and a small bit of powder when i get it. would they be good for mee?

5. plus karma

6. any other ski suggestions for my size and skiing interests? already considering bluehouse MR.

6. you didnt actually say what u ride in park. If it's just groomers and pow and no park there are tons of ski's that are a better fit

8. last years can be bought really cheap, I got mine for 93 euro's (135 dollar) --> profit!

2. mid flex but the rocker profile makes butters superrrr easy to initiate. basically feels buttery but holds turns like stiff ski

oh yeah, in park im basically 50/50 with jumps and rails. maybe even a little more rails. i am mostly park, i compete i just like skiing through trees and on groomers every one and a while. karma has been dealt.

- Nothing except the graphic...they're pretty much perfect, what's to change...

2. how do they perform in the park? (light/heavy, buttery/stiff, etc.)
They're not SUPER light, but not that heavy either, probably middle ground as far as weight, they are pretty buttery, but can still hold up to some bigger jumps

3. i'm gonna be like ?5"5? and ?120? pounds next season. high 150's for size right?
I'd go 169 actually for you, the rocker makes them ski shorter and the softness of the ski makes the extra length a great thing to have

4. i like to ski groomers and a small bit of powder when i get it. would they be good for mee?
I liked ripping around on groomers with them, they don't have the tightest turn radius and the rocker and symmetry makes it a bit trickier to get used to, but if you can find the right carving point they can be really fun.

There are tons out there...but I loved my domains, fun all over.

the domain and mr are on the opposite sides of the spectrum when compared the mr is quite stiff and has major major camber, the domain zero camber and flexy

thanks, they are sorta similar because they are park skis that perform well on groomers and pow.

Not trying to thread-jack but I feel like you would know this Flash. I read somewhere that for next year K2 is making their skis more true to normal size so a 169 would not be like a 172 anymore, do you know anything about this?

That gets said every year. They did make a few of their powder skis true to size last year (Bents and Seths), but I don't know if they're actually going to change their sizing on park skis, I guess we'll have to wait till they come out and someone can measure.

From what I've seen, they are not true to size next year. My friend was riding recoils towards the end of the season and they seemed linger than my 181 caylors

Been considering the Domain for a solid year, now I'm wondering if the rocker is something I should really consider since I plan on using these skis solamente in the park, and doing mostly rails. I'm mentioning that because I've read good things about the Punx and this year's suspect and now I'm lost.. Will the rocker really make a difference for me?

it will definately if you are going to be doing butters and going switch onto rails. with the rocker it will make it less likely for you to catch an edge than if you got a non-rockered one. also the the domain has a vertical ABS sidewall so the edges should hold up well for the rails you will be doing. i would get them if i were you if price isnt a factor

       deffintly not the lightest ski but its solid and super buttery!

            the'yll work fine i skied a 159 and im 5'8 they were a lil short but still loved them.
