Sony Vegas +K

so, im finally looking into getting some decent editing software. i use a pc.

i have heard nothing but good things about sony vegas. while shopping around i came across 2 different programs, they are both very similar and i cant tell much difference (other then price.

here they are:

i will be using them to edit mostly ski edits, and want somthing high quality and that i wont be wanting to replace in a year b/c im bored with it.

if you could please tell me the difference between these 2 programs and which would be better for me and my pocket, that would be much appreciated!

If you PAY for Vegas you will feel the vibration of my facepalm surge through the Earth's crust. Honestly, there are at least 15 videos going through the whole process of stealing the full and complete version of Vegas. Just go on YT and you can have the whole thing setup in an hour.

NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY SONY VEGAS. i used it for 3 years and i had so many problems that couldnt be solve. just torrent adobe premiere cs5.5

Do this, premiere is much better than Vegas, but if your like me and your computer can't handle premiere, then torrent Sony Vegas 10. It is simple to get and actually works very good.

and thats an .ISO so you have to also download an iso program to burn that file to a DVD and youll have the program on there

i have tried it many times with different vids on youtube, but it doesnt wanna work :(

well poop. i just used youtube tutorials to get it for vegas 9 when i had a PC. not to sure about getting it for vegas 10. just bum around on youtube and google. im sure you can find something

I agree.

As for MB, I believe the 64 bit version is much faster. I dont think downgrading to 32 bit is worth it for MB. You can learn to use the 3way color corrector/levels/ without MB. The majority of people that get MB right off that bat will just use presets.

Similar to what everyone has said; there is not an insane need to purchase vegas when there are hundreds of videos telling you how to get it for free. I've been editing with Vegas for nearly two years(?) now and have become a fairly good editor with it. There's a lot to learn and at first glance it looks very simple, but you can get very in depth with it if you mess around with everything it has to offer.

As for MBL in Vegas; do not make it a priority to install these as a plugin. They're very nice of course but can be VERY easily abused and misused. It is a smarter idea to start working with the preset Color correcting tools that Vegas supplies and then look into MBL.

I have magic bullets and it is useful sometimes only problem is it'll make your videos render like a slug :(
