so i'm bumping this thread to share my new favorite breakfast food....
2 eggs
3/4 c. milk
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. oil
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. to 1 1/4 c. flour
beat eggs until they're fluffy, then add the rest of the listed ingredients in the order i listed.
slice bread into relatively thick (3/4") pieces and quickly dip bread in batter covering both sides.
cook on a well greased skillet at a medium heat for 2 to 2.5 minutes on each side.
butter up then cover with syrup and your favorite fruit.
