Hey guys so I'm currently using a Vanguard Elite 1 Carbon fiber tripod and I'm going to be buying a Glidecam-2000HD and was wondering what or how to effectively swap my camera (Nikon D7000) from one to the other. Is there a quick release that would work? Any help or experience with this would be amazing.

I use a manfrotto quick release plate on my glidecam, the 577 i believe. it was like 50 bucks.
even when i didn't have a manfrotto tripod, it was still quicker to switch tripod plate.

haha. So basically I will need a quick release on my tripod and my glidecam right? Does the 557 adapt to most tripod plates?
