i'm a pretty aggressive skier, i've mounted my skis all over the place. with my hellbents i was 4 cm back to center mount. too far back makes you feel in less control, i like the center mount but when you drop big enough you sink too evenly and almost lose your float. i wanna mount my 184's sir francis bacons about 1 cm back what are your thoughts. i am open to most opinions

sounds like you don't ski park much, I'd go 1.5-2cm back for that setup personally.

i ski park a bit, but my park skis are my hellbents, i like rails and jumps and like how the bents are center mounted but with the drops you do feel like you are getting sucked under. i'm just wondering if anyone has the quiver of one ski and skis park to pow

1 cm back isn't going to feel any different. If you want more all mountain performance, I would say go at least 3 cm back. In my opinion, if you are going 3 cm back or closer, just go center.

I'd say -10 or +10. 10 is the lucky number in mounting skis, always has been and always will be.

then to answer your question. 1.5cm back from center, no doubt about it.

Scientific studies have shown that if you mount one ski +4 and the other ski -4, floatation prowess increases by 157%!
All times are Eastern (-5)
