I completely agree. I mean I can't be the ONLY one that notices that squirrels go out of their way to run across a road with cars almost hitting them (and sometimes hitting them) EVERY FUCKING TIME.

I hit a huge squirrel the other day cruising up Kaiser Pass. he ran in front of me, I slowed a little, layed on the horn and the bastard turned around and went right under both left tires. Felt like hitting a small pothole.

im not sure but i think this might be true...

I mean can the tail just get severed off like that?
also....

the squirrel runs 100% horizontally across the screen... which doesn't quite match up with the perspective of the video.

if the car in the picture about is the same one as the one that was racing, i don't see how the squirrel would have gotten under it. Let alone continued on its course without being at least blown around of something.

i think a piece of its tail gets chopped off. you hear a slight smacking as it gets run over. you can see something resembling a piece of the tail bouncing towards the bottom of the screen and comes to rest just above the time bar at about 6 seconds in. and the tail appears shorter after the squirrel gets run over
