So I went to my local hill yesterday to test it out and here are the results
For the price of it, I think it works very well and I would definitely recommend it. The slider is fairly heavy so you'll want pretty sturdy tripod legs. I have old flimsy ones so the slight jumps you see are from the tripod moving due to the weight changes.
And for those interested this was filmed on my friends Nikon D7000, all shots except the last one are straight from the camera with no color correction.
