Laptop help

I need help choosing a laptop for editing GoPro and T2i Footage. I would prefer PC, but im not completely against mac. Im just wondering what the necessary specs would be for editing this footage, and if anyone has good recommendations. I dont really have a set budget right now because im going to be saving up for it.

luckily i saw this cause i am on the same boat as you, i dont have anything against mac's but id rather a pc. equivalent to a mac though. i know nothing about computers but im looking to get a new one. my range is probably 1000$ or around that mark. any help would be awesome thanks!

PCs will be way cheaper, you won't find a Mac within the 1000 range that will be good for editing. I don't know much about windows computers unfortunately but if either of you decide to go Mac I can help you, I just recently got a new mac
