Deaf people "hearing" their own thoughts

Me and a bunch of my friends were talking about this~if people were born deaf could they 'hear' themselves think~I wouldnt think so since they dont know what sound is?? And what color to blind people see since they cant see anything else? it could be black but since they dont know what color is they couldnt tell u so it could be like black or white or even like red??

i think deaf people can hear themselves think...becuase most deaf people can talk (not perfectly, but they still can) so they know what words they're trying to say, or think....or something...awe i lost it....i'll be back

if humans couldn't communicate we would still think and dream, we'd just do so with pictures and stuff, not words. so yea, deaf people can think and hear their own thoughts...
and if you leave a group of babies along togeather in a secluded area (such as an island) they will develope thier own language as they grow older... i wanna try that some day - i just need to find a bunch of babies.

it depends.... if they are blind because they don't have a coclia (sp) they can't hear anything. but if it's something that effects the outside of the ear than they can still hear the vibrations that come from themselves talking.

if they are blind/deaf can they see/hear in their dreams? if blind people drop acid do they see shit? (when you trip you get closed eye visuals as well as open eye)

Depends on how blind you are, many people who are blind have a small amount of vision, where everything is just a blur in a very limited area. Also most people are born blind, they become blind later on. I'm not sure what deaf people 'hear'in their heads, but i'm pretty sure that they instinctivly know what sound is so their mind can recreate it in dreams and stuff.
