Fat powder ski, near symmetrical with big rocker

so as most of you know, im a pretty hardcore rossi guy. unfortunately, rossignol doesn't have a ski to fit my needs. i have the s6 which i like a very lot but at only 110 underfoot it isnt wide enough(i dont think) for colorado where ill be moving to. there is not enough rocker for what im doing now here on the east( sw pillows, spins into pow, 180s off cliffs, that sort of thing). my plan not too long ago was to get another pair(186) since i trashed this pair on rails, for when i move.

moment is sold online at either evo or backcountry... might be both. neither of them would charge retail and there are always discount codes going around.

if I didnt just buy caylors I would be all over it.
By the way 110 is enough underfoot for CO if you are skiing in bounds. You might want a 115-125 underfoot for some bigger bc skiing. Look at the caylors, night trains, next years pollards opus, bentchetlers etc.

volkl chopsticks are symetrical and they are very fat, 128 underfoot and they have lots of rocker.

i would say the nordica radict. really sick ski. lots of rocker in the tip and tail but with camber and a minute amount of sidecut underfoot for the time spent on groomers. i think the 185 would be a good size option for you.

another question i have is how big will i need to go/ is it doable on s6's. idealy id like to get another pair of s6 because i can get them with wholesale+employee discount and it would be taken out of my pay so it would be easy, and i wouldnt have to pay for bindings. colorado. how big?

at your size and height if you are set on s6 for powder definitely the longer length (186).

but if i were you i would keep an all mountain ski for the days when there is tracked and older snow or just cruising around on piste.
then i would get a ski designed purely for the deep. if you can afford, definitely buy 2 pairs of skis for different purposes because if you have just 1 ski for everything it will not excell anywhere.

in your situation id get the ghost chants in a 186. theyre light have a ton of rocker arent too fat (since there arent that many 3 foot plus storms in co) and symmetrical. theyre soft as hell too fur buttering and playing around as it seems.

i must admit that i have not skid them yet, but since theyre from moment, they will most probably ride like a dream.

if youre short on cash: buy the s6s with discount and unmounted binding. sell the skis unused for slightly under retail. buy ghost chants with the profit you made from selling s6s and some savings and mount them with the free binding.

If your not deadset on Rossi gear I would suggest a pair of hellbents. so much rocker and so much fun. A new pair of 10s would be nice because it's 122 underfoot and IMO any pair of hellbents should be ridden center, if not very close to.
