i just dont get it.

If you wear tall t's you dont have your own style
If you wear skinny jeans you dont have your own style
If you wear jiberish you dont have your own style
If you wear saga you dont have your own style
etc

Honestly, how does one get their own style? No hate, im honestly just wondering what the NSers think.

Your skiing should be a way to express your own, unique style. You'll always be able to find someone wearing the same shit as you. What you do under your clothes is what really counts.... any hackjob can wear the baggiest, trendiest clothes, but it sure doesn't mean they can ski. In other words, style is not something that can be purchased. just go out and make your own, badass style.

It's not that wearing tall t's and what not mean you don't have your own style, sure there are people that push it over the top and focus more on their looks then on their skiing, but saga, tall t's, etc. are in some way a way to identify each other and look badass, I would hate to feel like I can't wear it because its "not my own style," I have my own style in that I wear blue and green, and that when you see a skier tearing up the rails in blue and green then there is a good chance its me

So your saying in order to have your own style you have to come up with something completely new to wear? If that was true we would all look like lady gaga out on the slopes...

Maybe, just maybe, style is more than just what your wearing.

Its everything from the tricks you decide to try, to your posture, to the way you act on and off the slopes and everywhere in between.

^ Yessur you are on point... You could give 5 kids the same gear and I bet 4 out of 5 would have different styles. Henrik would stretch his shit, the next kid would wash his shit and dry it so it shrinks, Wallisch would wear the shirt on his head and just be gettin tan instead, B-Paul would cut the sleeves off of it, and the windells camper would copy one of them. So I hope that can either help you or open you eyes to the world of different styles.

Having your own style is over rated. No matter what you do, you'll always be compared to someone else. Besides, having similar styles is what unites us as a sub-culture. How else would we be able to tell whose on NS at the mountain if everybody looked completely different.

just wear what u wanna wear, if u dress exactly like another person than u don't have ur own style but u can look at ppl and see an item they're wearing and use it as an idea and whatnot. ppl who say what u said above just wouldn't make sence cuz then ur own style would have to be all home made shit and that's unreasonable for most ppl
