Anybody moved to london from america?

if so whats it like. I mean personally I just cant picture a show as good as top gear ever coming from some united states hosts. And im way into soccer, and it would probably be fun to see what their real culture is. Cause their is a totally different culture there. People arent lawyer bitches and they dont sue for rediculous things like they do hear. Also theres no guns and people settle shit with fights etc... I mean as far as i know, there arent anywhere near the murders as there are in the us.

ive been to london before, but never lived there.

yea it's really not all that different.


i lived there for a bit, and it was unbelievably awesome. Loved every second of it, and am still debating moving back in a few years.

I currently live in London. I dont really know what to tell you about it.

I personaly much prefer English culture to North American culture... The humour is more subtle and intelligent, people aren't afraid to be self-depricating etc, even some commericals are very self-aware/self-depricating etc.
Pubs are nice, i enjoy the atmosphere. Its fun to just chill for an evening, grab a few pints and play scrabble in a pub.

The diversity in London is pretty awesome. As a white person you'll probably feel like a minority in a lot of areas. Theres so much to do and so many different parts of the city that its hard to sum in all up.
Food is incredible. Indian food is a must here.



Anyways, if you are going to London anytime soon pm me or something and i could give you some more info.

i live in london ontario. they're both terrible places

the only difference is that theres good bands and funny people in ontario

I lived in englad but now live in America. I lived in cambridge. England is great near London. Lots of hot women. But don't venture toward the middle of england its boring. London is a nice town. Go an live there. Be wary it's expensive

Seeing as you're on NS you should probably think about where you want to live in relation to the nearest snowdome, it sucks being 2 hours away from the closest one.

There are enough nightclubs... I'm not big on clubbing but you won't get bored on a night out thats for sure.

Also like every weekend you'll probably be able to find some dope live music. The past month or so here there has been: Four Tet, Arcade Fire, Wu-Tang, OFWGKTA, MF DOOM, Portishead, Caribou, The Weakerthans, Aphex Twin, Chemical Brothers etc. etc. Theres always dope bands in town.

There's plenty. Personally I liked the Barfly Club when I was in London. Strange little place with live bands almost every day on the second floor. But yeah, there are many nightclubs and it depends what you like.
