Cheapest Quality lens for t2i

My budget is super low. I'm looking for lens that are about 150$. (I don't have 400$ atm to drop on a lens) I know that some older lens require an adapter so if you can help me out with that too it'd be great. I know some people on here are really helpful and this is what i've decided I need. (or close too). + K for help.

Roughly:

80 Prime lens

10-25ish Zoom Wide



All of these are not concrete just an idea of what i'm looking for.

Yeah. Canon 50mm 1.8 is cheap. $125 in Canada.

This, with the 550d's crop sensor the 50mm is going to be a lot (the first time I typed that I wrote laught. Huh.) tighter, if it's his only lens he's not going to want an 80 which if my estimates are correct will land him at about 100mm. Too tight for his only prime, or only lens at that.

I just put on my 18-135 and tested this theory, wow, 80 is tight.

50 1.8 probably. On eBay you can find them for like 80 too.

You want to use it for photo or video? Kinda matters...

And both for 150? Impossible.

Especially UWA's are pretty expensive.

Also I was thinking like 150 a piece, coming out to around 300 or so. Can you explain why those a better for video? Just curious

also if anyone is looking to sell some lens in this price range feel free to post them.

So far it looks like i'm going to be for sure getting the 50mm 1.8.

Now i'm looking for a cheap wide angle or telephoto!
