Wakeboard

So I want to buy my first wakeboard. I have a shitty speedboat, how much of an issue is that going to be? and im 5,8 165

not bad if your just beginning. I go behind a fishing boat with a elevated rope. tripod over engine. It's fine I can do flips with it. I'm also adding tanks this summer for a bigger wake. My friend has a mastercraft. it's super nice. but I wouldn't really worry about type of boat and wake if your just beginning. You don't need that much power at all to get up.

sorry for dup post but if your just beginning and want a good beginner board that doesn't break your wallet. the o'brien system board is good. but once you get real good you should upgrade.

boat without a tower/shitty boat doesnt really matter when youre beginning, just you fall much more because your getting pulled down. look for hyperlite, liquid force or ronix boards

so i have a boat with an outboard motor and two hooks on either side of the back towing i usually just tie a rope on either side and hook the tow rope on to that does anyone here have a better way to set it up its a 22.5ft Grady white tournament series if that matters

Use a bridal, or get a ski pylon. I know people with the same boat and they have a factory installed ski pylon on the back.

check out wakeside.com
they have pretty much anything you need.
board wise i would stick to liquid force for a first board. they arent to much and very solid. if you want to step up and get something better which honestly you wont be able to tell the difference theres ronix and byerly which are tight.
small tip make sure its got molded fins. and take off the shitty center one once you get it
