I dont know if you all know this but were only halfway done with our summer season at hood.....just built a new park in fact. 3 jumps, 18 ft pipe, 10 rails and boxes......I agree with Scott29 the seasons not over yet

just an FYI I will be hiring a Systems Administrator here in the next couple weeks. it's full-time, seasonal (that means 40 hours a week, august- to about end of april) so i need somebody that is willing to work with the seasonal schedule

Well Justin got new park skis a few days ago, so now I'm so stoked on having a real job and making money so I can do the same. I'm freaking out, I can't really ski or snowboard till November, but I'm stoked.

If anyone knows of a place that is renting for the season, like a room or something, let me know. Thanks!

Alright. August is almost over. We're getting the beginnings of things done for this next year in the park.

From the planning and chatting that I've done, we're looking to be more jibby this coming year. Additionally, we want to be better in touch with the riders who use the park.

So here's your first chance to affect what we do this year: what do you want to see this year?

What types of jibs get you most excited?

Do you like Pro Line at large size?

What types of jumps would you like to see?

Would you rather have more jibs than jumps?

How did you feel about the comps last year?

What jibs are most essential to build this fall?

Would you rather more jibs and jumps, or a halfpipe?

Do you care about the pipe?

My hope is that I can collect a bunch of feedback, find some commonalities, and then try to please as many people as possible with our offerings for this year.

Also, if you're serious about a park job for this winter, get in touch with me. Note that you need to be at least 18 and able to work full time, holidays, etc late November through late April. It's a job, not a ski vacation, and regardless of how you hear about it there's still a hiring process and all that good stuff.

Would you rather have more jibs than jumps? Only if they come with the previously mentioned nipping naked girls
How did you feel about the comps last year? I don't think I was at a single one, but they were probably lacking naked female cheerleaders.
What jibs are most essential to build this fall? The ones with naked chicks on stripper poles, and ones that keep Grant from bitching like a girl Scott~ would be attracted too.
Would you rather more jibs and jumps, or a halfpipe? Strippers! and what ever keeps Grant from bitching.
Do you care about the pipe? If it was steeper, built right, did not suck, or had strippers!

yes, i like to have enough air to fully urinate myself

one or two super poppy ones, like the one at hood during WCS, a kinda flat, tall, skiiercross style stepdown, and a jump line that increases length as you go down. so say, a 20 ft, to 30 ft to 40 ft and so on

I dont mind the ratio at stevens, but i would like a few more jibs, yes.
How did you feel about the comps last year?
didn't attend any but i heard they were rad

good boxes, more down bars than the candy cane, and...make a cannon option on the side of one of the jump lines.

What types of jibs get you most excited? tubes/lift towers, and no more square coping

Do you like Pro Line at large size? as big as you can get them

What types of jumps would you like to see? waterfall needs to be stepup-ish, the second jumps amount of pop needs to match the pitch of the landing, and the third one needs to be a stepdown

Would you rather have more jibs than jumps? no the ratio is good just the quality is uneven

How did you feel about the comps last year? need a slope comp

What jibs are most essential to build this fall? a double elbowing dfd with a donkey dick

Would you rather more jibs and jumps, or a halfpipe? unless its a full size halfpipe cut with the zaug its not worth it

i want lift towers/mailboxes
round coping on boxes
a frame rails
a medium jump line thats like 25-30-35 and are poppy
keep the large jump line

do somthing with that trail that goes to the left that never has anything on it. jibs/medium jumps for more intermediet people

Based on my couple days of skiing Stevens last winter I have this input:

what do you want to see this year? The upper, flatter part of the park used for more jibs instead of jumps as well as the lower flats.
What types of jibs get you most excited? A good mix. Would be cool to see some barrel/lift tower type features and some cool creative setups. Round coping, lots of narrow boxes like Timberline has in different configurations.
Do you like Pro Line at large size? When I remember to wax.
What types of jumps would you like to see? Standard park style, slight stepdown, mostly table; some stepups. All medium poppy. Upper jumps can be all sorts of different.
Would you rather have more jibs than jumps? I like as much of both as I can get.
How did you feel about the comps last year?
What jibs are most essential to build this fall? The lift tower pipe things.
Would you rather more jibs and jumps, or a halfpipe? Jibs and jumps.
Do you care about the pipe? Only if it's good.

YES! good gaper deterrent too. I loved the 4 pack this year, don't change a thing

a cut-out jump like the waterfall at the end of (last season, maybe one before?) but put somewhere else.

and a jump to butterpad to lip and a side jump to the butterpad. more step-ups, there can always be more step-ups. and a quarterpipe!

NO. NEVER.

Im thinking we should play a forum game this season.

Somebody makes up a challenge related to stevens pass, and then another person posts a picture/video/proof of the task being completed and makes up a new task. As long as people dont pick ridiculous shit like dub flipping off tye rock it should be fun. Also doesnt really have to be skiing. A challenge could be to try to pick up some random snow bunny, or find a guy in a one piece and ask him if his suit comes with a poop flap~

Actually now that I think about it, it would probably be better for someone to propose 1-3 challenges at a time, and you need only complete 1 so the game doesnt stall out~

this one is spring related though, so it is going to be up all season.

While riding up big chief with a ripping young lass, convince her to take off her bra and toss it in the bra tree. IT has to be the the bra she is WEARING when she gets on the lift. THE BRA MUST LAND IN THE BRA TREE. Document it with video (even gapers have cameras attached to their heads these days), or do it in front of me, and you win. *A good video clip would be filmed from a goPro/Contour attached to the tip of your ski*

I will give something cool from my pile of cool things to the first person to do this. There are a lot of really cool things in my cool things pile. The hotter the girl, the cooler the thing.
