What binding on Lie Sir Francis Bacon?

Title says it all. I might buy the Bacons so I need a good binding for cheap! (if possible) and some reviews on this ski would be sick thanks! +k to anyone who helps

Are you getting the 11's or 12's?...the 11's were honestly the most amazing ski I have ever been on. Haven't rode the 12's yet but from what I've seen and heard the 12's are like a hybrid between last years bacons and a crypto....and the opus is like a cross between last years bacons and the ep pro. I bought the opus just because I absolutely fell in love with last years bacons and now the opus is officially the sickest ski I've ever ridden. It's so good that I'm making it my everyday ski next year. What are ya plannin on using it for? All mountain or strictly back/sidecountry? Cause if you goin new newschool and usin it for park I'd say get the 11' bacons and mount the bindings jus behind dead center. You'll make all the afterbang kids cry.

You didn't really leave much info, but I love my Salomon STH Driver 16s, they also come in dins 12 and 14 depending on your needs.

To add... As far as bindings if your light enough and don't ride with a high din the look px12s are cheap and decent or if your real light the marker squires are supposed to be a real decent value. Let me know which years bacons your thinkin of gettin cause if your lookin at the 11s I'll give ya a real comprehensive review.

Thanks but sorry! I'm looking at the 2011 ones. I'll be skiing just about everything. Mostly all mountain fast pace powder medium size cliffs and shit. Back country jumps, and I'll venture into the park very rarely. Oh and one other thing I have the Marker Griffon and the brake isn't wide enough for the Bacon's but would a 130mm brake width work on the Bacon's? Even though it says it has to be 115mm to 120mm.

if you have 110mm break you can bend it pretty easily to fit over a 115 mm ski...

Yeah bro the 130 is your only option and the griffs will be perfect....didn't suggest em cause ya said cheap. How much are the bacons gonna cost ya? They're so so sick man you are gonna love em. You can rip on groomers and there is no tip hook in tight trees. Don't listen to the peeps who say they don't hold a good edge on hardpack cause that's booshit. They held a better edge than my cryptos on hardpack. I rode them at +3 of midsole which is damn near dead center. Not for everyone but I never had a single issue with float whatsoever. Honestly the only ski I've been on that's close is the bent chets and the only ski I've been on that's better is the opus. But I've got a unique style that's way more surfy. Enjoy those things though!

Spend the $50 bucks and don't bend those brakes. When ya bend em it dampens your skis stopping power when ya lose it especially in deep pow.

Okay yeah thanks so much! I'm getting em for $440 brand new. So but if I buy the brake for 50 bucks it will work with the binding and ski no problem? God. I can't wait to get em! living in Alaska pow skis are a must!

OMG ya live in Alaska? So jealous...haha. That's a real decent price though and I'd make sure your shop switches out the brake cause otherwise it'll void the warranty on your bindings...if ya have any warranty left that is. But yeah dude those skis no shit will prob go down in history as one of the best all mountain/pow skis ever. Phenomenal ski. Excellent choice. Shit I'm stoked for ya...haha

Let me put it to ya this way.... It's plenty stiff for the harpack but the early rise makes butters so easy. While I was on them out at the canyons in Utah I ran em through the park for a few hours and was blown away by what I was doin on such a fat ski. It stomped landings and the width was amazing for grinds. I was doin switch nose butters on boxes no problem and I can't do that on my cryptos. In the pow it took me a few tries to get a feel for 360 nose butters but that wasn't the skis fault, it was mine. It felt like the tails would break loose sooner than I expected and I'd end up doin a 270 and spill. After a few times I started to realize that if I took advantage of the tails breakin loose early I could jus about pull off a 540 butter. Oh that's another thing...switch will feel kinda stiff the first few times ya try it. Like it wants to ride straight...so try it a few times on a chill run to get a feel for it but once you do you'll realize it's just that stable switch and it's more a matter of adjusting for it... But once you do get a feel for it your gonna be doin stuff on those that'll blow your mind. I an convinced those things made me a better skier...haha

Yeah those bases look so sick in pics....I have a cheesy one of me in the backcountry in Utah on my profile. My friend sucks as a photographer so that was the best pic I have on the bacons...haha...I have a ton of sick pics of him on my computer though...lol

depending on your weight, there's several options:
FKS in a 12 or 14, STH driver in a 14, pivots in a 12 or 14, or if your touring, barons or dukes
