Becoming a cop

It seems like everyone who wants to be a cop has a pretty long list of criminal offenses. Does anyone know what you can and can't do before you're a cop. Note... I don't want to be a cop, this is purely out of curiosity.

im biased but ive also met about a dozen cops and id say 10 out of the 12 were fucked in the head some way or another.

have you ever tried to stomp an ounce+ into the dirt? you could pick up at least 3/4 of it after the cop walked away and it would be pretty much fine. unless you stomped it into like a deep ass mud puddle or something.
