a short little edit with a new t3. has some long boarding and other stuff.
I think its pretty good aside from a lot of foreground focus type shots, but i wanna see what you guys have to say.

subscribe to me too if you are so incline, im gonna be making more videos sorta like this throughout the summer

dude that's really impressive for your first edit. Definitely some good cinematography, but yeah just don't go overboard on those focus shots, besides that great job man keep it up. +k

that focusing stuff was kind of my go-to when filming it, but after i put it all together i do see that its a litttle overboard now haha. will work on that next time

great first edit! enjoyed watching it.

as you seem to already know, great filming is not just about having super shallow depth of field and everything going in and out of focus. you have to learn how to use DOF as a tool to strengthen your shot, whether it's deep or shallow.

wayyyyy too many focus pulls, if some shots were just simply kept in focus it woulda been so much better

Yeah maybe try picking up a tripod or glidecam or some other stabilization gear. Having follow/panning/dolly shots with smooth movement adds a lot of production value to edits. Plus it's something to resort to other than focus pulls.
