2012 LDC looks like someone gave fabric to a 10 year old to cut up into pieces and paste on a jacket mold. absolutely awful. no balance, no flow. it looks like shit.

They aren't that much different than the saga designs. Plus theres like 3 or 4 jackets at are solid colored so its really not that bad. besides the colors, i think the new stuff looks pretty nice

The arent that different in concept, but the saga looks good and has good color schemes and patterns. LDC looks like shit.

You guys who are gonna say it looks like shit nowjust wait. I kinda agree (espically the deere). But once its beung skiied in on the hill and people recieve their stuff i guarntee its going to look good. Thats what happened to me last year i wasnt really feelin the stuff, saw some kid wearing china pants at okemo and bought myself a pair that night.

Dudes theres gems in there, Samurai pants are dope as well as the all black and gray jackets.  The thing that I personally don't care for is having a panelled back, as in two tone colored back of a jacket, it looks weird and kind of like your wearing a mid-drift in my opinion.  Solid colored back panels look clean.  Im waiting on a size chart and then we'll see what I end up getting.  Stoked on LDC overall.

Saga blew it this year. LDC takes the cake out of them Saga and FD. The new LDC looks a whole lot better than the new Saga, which looks like someone gave fabric to an 8 year old to cut up into pieces and paste on a jacket mold. Absolutely awful, no balance, no flow. Looks like feces.

There are a ton of similarities between this years Saga and LDC, but LDC used colors that don't look like a compost bucket.

I've got to agree with you, although I wish LDC chose some different colors... In any case these are my two favorites as far as patterned styles go:

The rest is kind of meh, besides solid colors. Can't go wrong there. If I were to buy a combo it would probably be solid black jacket with solid grey pants.

also saga barley even changed their jacket design from last year to this year. they look practically equal. LDC revamped everything and its looking dope. The more I look at it the more it grows on me.

I really like the suits!
The only thing that I'm not too fond of is the back of the jackets. It would look cleaner if it was one colour (not including the hood). Otherwise, they're super clean looking.

I think each of those look sick... but, to each his own I guess.

It just seems like there are a lot of "eaches" whose own are saga, and not LDC, for (in my mind) good reason.


The only good looking thing are the grey and black pants. Which are even still a little weird. All of the design is at the top of the pants, which is hidden by most kid's jackets these days.

After looking at it for a while, the multicolored jackets would only look good with the matching pants. I think the deere jacket would look bad with anything but eh matching pants, even with black pants I don't think it would look good.

Actually I have to dissagree with you. Even in their lookbook they state that it has a slight change from last year. IMO Saga made a solid collection of options to choose from for the upcoming season. I love my Lethal Descent Leopard jacket, but this year looks like a let down for LDC. I feel as if the only colors they used were black, grey, yellow, and green. Come on, Saga has a wide range to choose from this year. Also, it seems as is it looks like "somone gave fabric to an 8 year old to cut up into pieces and paste on a jacket mold" is leaning towards the look of LDC this year rather than Saga.

I complain about outerwear that doesnt look good.

Saga has good patterns. They have balance, the colors work well, and they look good.

Outerwear that I complain about: FD due to its shitty design AND quality, and this year's LDC, because it looks awful

Outerwear companies I stand behind: Causwell, Saga, Orage, Trew, some Sessions, Holden, the list goes on.

So don't say that "saga whores" criticize everything else. I wear saga, and criticize ugly.

Seriously, LDC is NOT that different from this year's saga. different colored pockets, different colored main jacket. Thought they could have maybe thought up a few other colors, i think that they did a good job with the designs. main point is, Saga and LDC colors/designs are very similar and to seperate the two so much as to say you criticize one and love the other is rediculous

Hypocritical statement is very hypocritical and opinion based. I don't know what you consider color balance to be, but Saga put terrible colors together with each other. Design wise, the jackets are either the same pattern as last years, or they look like a typical jacket (solid bleh body with different monotone sleeves/shoulders/hood).

This years LDC has alot of similarities to the '10 Saga line. You just don't like the color's of this years LDC. All the colors work excellently, and they look decent.

And whoever was complaining about the lack of color selection, LDC always has ~3 colors per year. It's how they role.
