Hand made by chill dudes down here in New Zealand. All leather and once the lining packs out the dexterity is very, very good. Warmest gloves around, only downside is they don't breathe very well so if you get sweaty hands it can be an issue, because moisture sure as hell isn't going in or out of these things.
there is a major sale going on for empire gloves on backcountry i got a new york II for 30 bucks and the mittens are around the same price. pipe gloves for 15.
I had the same thing happen to me. If you want something thatll keep your hands warm avoid the rubbery grip part. Pick a glove w/o that it can get pretty cold if the grippy party gets even a little wet.
I've used POW and Level. Pow is more comfortable but my Level handled the beating much better than the POWs. I would suggest Level to get your moneys worth.
