I've been bouldering for a few years, but finally just bought a harness and ATC and took a basic lesson, does anyone in here rock climb? Ive been trying to find people for a while, but anyone who is into it (understandably) doesnt wanna waste their time showing someone the basics. I live in Summit, but I'd be willing to travel a bit if anyone wants to show me whats up? word

Homestake Creek (the road that parallels it) between Minturn and leadville has some fun looking routes....I don't know much about rock climbing but they didn't look real tech either.

I climb religiously in the summer and have been climbing for 4 years now, but I live in VA right now haha so I don't think I could show you personally. If you have any questions tho just shoot them at me, definitely go to a climbing gym if you have one and go up and down walls top-roping, endurance is super important on the longer routes especially when you get into lead and trad

and if you're wondering why I was looking in the CO forums when I live in VA, I just searched rock climbing to see if any NSers were into it, but I do plan on moving to CO when I graduate college, so stoked

i just got a pair of climbing shoes. i've done some climbing in the past but not a lot. hardest i've done are outdoor and indoor 5.10. cameron pass has some great climbing but i don't have a harness yet. plenty of my friends are expert outdoor climbers but most of them are gone right now or graduated and moved.

I was getting pretty into to indoor climbing before I was cooped up in the hospital for a while and gained a bunch of weight and lost all my strength
I have a membership to Movement, so if anyone wants to climb or boulder there give me a holler
